Foot Reflexology

Foot Reflexology

Foot Reflexology uses pressure and is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body. This technique is said to induce a healing response, even alleviating some ailments. The practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles. Kneading the soft fleshy ball of the foot, pulling on the toes, tracing around the heel, and pushing deep into the arch are just a few of the movements you’ll experience during a session.

Reflexology may help boost the immune system, increase circulation, promote healing, and balance energy by manipulating the tissues and relaxing the muscles, relieving tension, and improving circulation. This can help improve overall health and well-being.

Head, Neck, & Shoulder Massage

Head, Neck, & Shoulder Massage is a type of therapeutic massage that focuses on treating the client through neuromuscular therapy techniques on the head and on the areas surrounding it such as the face, neck, upper arms, shoulders, and back. It uses gentle massage strokes and myofascial techniques on these parts to stimulate the nerves and loosen up tight muscles.

This type of massage is an effective way of relieving shoulder pain and increasing the range of motion because it improves blood circulation throughout the muscles, providing them with oxygen-rich nutrients. It also helps calm headaches, relaxes the mind, relieves tension and anxiety, and removes stress both emotionally and physically.

Tok-Sen Massage

Tok-Sen Massage is a technique that uses a special wooden hammer and wedge for creating rhythmic vibrations that stimulate a wide range of health benefits.

Tok-Sen Massage helps relieve painful and tired muscles (particularly the arms, legs, shoulders, back, and occipital bone), rheumatism, pinched nerves, stiffness or cramping, temporary paralysis or numbness.

Tok-Sen Massage was developed from knowledge and experience obtained over a great period of time and passed from teacher to student as no textbook currently exists. This knowledge and experience led to the discovery that energy “lines” or “channels” are the vital constituents in holding the body structure together and also make the body movements natural and follow the positions we want.

Thai Hot Stone Massage

Thai Hot Stone Massage is used to help one relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout the body. During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of the body such as along the spine or back, the neck, the face, and the palms to promote relaxation. Also, the heat from the stones can also help improve blood flow.

The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock. Basalt river rocks are the most commonly used stones for this type of massage because they are smooth from the river’s current and they hold heat well. They heat quickly and can retain that heat for an extended period of time. Before treatment, the rocks are heated in a professional heater to between 110°F to 145°F.
